The position will support, replace, and maintain switches and routers in multiple locations including hardware, LCM replacement, incident, and outage response and support and maintain the Voice Over IP (VOIP) infrastructure.\nCoordinate with FAA IT Services security to provide support for certification and accreditation and other security initiatives\nApply security patches for switches and routers as needed\nUtilize industry standard software including Cisco, Ironport, Aruba, Bluecoat, and/or Infoblox\nImplement IPv6 upgrades to FAA IT Services networks\nValidate proposed network changes\nPerform network assessments and provide results in reports\nTest new technologies and design network solutions\nDocument network solutions, configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps\nPlan, design, and implement network solutions including supporting facility network cabling and site surveys\nInstall, test, terminate, and repair Ethernet and Fiber cables\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, and/or other IT degree (engineering, math, and science related degrees are considered acceptable alternative degrees); five (5) years of relevant experience.\nEducation/Experience Substitutions\nThe following substitutions may be considered at the Government's discretion:\nA Bachelor's degree in a pertinent discipline is generally equivalent to a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.\nA Master's degree in a pertinent discipline is generally equivalent to a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.\nFor positions requiring a Bachelor's degree, a High School Diploma plus four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be generally adequate.\nWork Location and Schedule\nPrimary Location: Des Plaines, IL\nSchedule: Monday through Friday, core hours 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time\nTelework may be permitted when determined to be in the best interest of the Government\nFAA Personnel Suitability clearance required (AMS 3.14-2)\nCompany Profile:\nFounded in 1999 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is a leading small business in technology, engineering, and management consulting.
