Your Kids First Learning Center and Childcare is now hiring dynamic and experienced Childcare Teachers for our brand new location in Belpre, OH. Your Kids First Learning Center and Childcare is a family-owned and operated child care center. We are currently in need of candidates with the following childcare experience, to join our team: Children from ages 6 weeks through 12 years old We provide a safe, healthy, and loving environment for the children that are taught basic skills and encouraged to develop their imagination, critical thinking, and artistic skills. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about the field of child development and interested in working with preschool aged children. If you are patient, detailed-oriented, organized, have great time management skills, and most importantly, enjoy working with children then come join our team. Requirements: CDA or Associate Degree in Child Development or Education (preferred but not required.) Classes in Child abuse, communicable disease, first aid, and cpr (preferred but not required) Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm with some flexibility for some overtime as needed. Ability to develop relationships with the children in order to create a positive environment and create lasting memories with the children. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Must be able to sit on the floor with children throughout the day. This includes climbing stairs when needed. Responsibilities: Include but not limited to: teaching basic skills using our unique child development methodologies. including; reading, writing, math, social skills using our unique curriculum. Including leading play groups of children around specific activities such as arts and crafts, music, walking, outdoor play, etc. Administering vaccinations using a variety of methods including oral swabbing and hand swabbing as well as providing input regarding the planning of classes based on the child's development level. Including following up with parents regarding the progress of their child's learning efforts as well as responding to any concerns or questions that may arise during daily interactions.
