The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as a Process Technician and be able to quickly troubleshoot molding processes, equipment, tooling, and product quality issues.\n\n· This is a great opportunity for a plastics professional who enjoys working with advanced automated equipment and wants to contribute to the production of medical devices and components in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\n_Process Setup & Production:_\n\n* Set up, start, and optimize injection molding and/or extrusion blow molding equipment.\n* Perform mold and tooling changes while minimizing production downtime.\n* Establish and verify machine settings and process parameters.\n* Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.\n* Perform machine startup and shutdown procedures according to established requirements.\n* Document machine settings, process parameters, production data, and adjustments.\n\n_Troubleshooting & Process Optimization:_\n\n* Troubleshoot molding processes, tooling, equipment, and product quality issues.\n* Identify root causes of production and processing problems and implement corrective actions.\n* Make process adjustments to maintain product dimensions, appearance, quality, and production efficiency.\n* Work with maintenance personnel when equipment repairs are required.\n* Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, downtime, waste, and production inefficiencies.\n* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n_Quality & Inspection:_\n\n* Perform in-process quality inspections using tools such as:\n* Calipers\n* Gram scales\n* Magna-Mike gauges\n* Other precision measuring equipment\n* Verify products meet established specifications and quality requirements.\n* Complete production and quality documentation accurately.\n* Follow all applicable GMP, GDP, quality, and manufacturing procedures.\n\n_Equipment & Automation:_\n\nThe facility utilizes advanced plastics manufacturing equipment, including:\n\n* Extrusion blow molding equipment\n* Injection molding equipment\n* Multi-head parison systems\n* Automated downstream equipment\n* APC/process control systems\n* Six-axis robotics\n* Automated pallet wrapping and banding systems\n\n· Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, or vision inspection systems is highly valued.\n\n_Team Support:_\n\n* Work closely with operators, technicians, maintenance, quality, and production personnel.\n* Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced team members.\n* Support production during breaks, shift changes, and staffing needs.\n* Communicate production or process concerns effectively to management.\n* Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime when needed.\n\n*Qualifications*\n\nRequired\n\n* High school diploma or GED.\n* 1–2+ years of Process Technician experience in plastics manufacturing.\n* Hands-on experience with injection molding and/or extrusion blow molding.\n* Strong understanding of plastics processing and molding principles.\n* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\n* Experience with molds, tooling, processing equipment, and machine setup.\n* Ability to read and understand work instructions, production documentation, and equipment manuals.\n* Basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing software.\n* Strong understanding of measurements, fractions, decimals, and basic mathematics.\n* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.\n\n*Preferred*\n\n* Experience manufacturing medical devices or other regulated products.\n* Cleanroom manufacturing experience.\n* Experience with automated equipment, robotics, APC systems, or vision inspection.\n* Technical school, vocational training, or related education.\n* Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.\n\n*Work Environment*\n\n* Fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment.\n* Production of medical devices and components.\n* Cleanroom manufacturing environment with required gowning and PPE.\n* Exposure to automated molding and production equipment.\n* Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.\n* Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, perform repetitive movements, and regularly lift up to 25 pounds.\n\nPay: $33.00 -
