Maintenance Technician

Department: GL6 MaintenanceLocation: SMCDescriptionFII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production in resolving process and equipment issues, and perform daily preventive maintenance of SMT equipment. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Maintenance Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.The Maintenance Technician will perform machine calibrations, compile and analyze statistical data for critical equipment, and assist with machine optimization as needed.ResponsibilitiesSupport production in resolving process and equipment issuesPerform daily preventive maintenance of SMT equipmentWork with Field Service Support to resolve equipment issues and perform upgradesFabricate and maintain manufacturing jigs, fixtures, and other toolingCompile and analyze statistical data for critical equipment process and machine healthCreate profile boards, profiles, and set up profile parameters for wave soldering and re-flow ovensPerform machine calibrations and diagnosticsMaintain PM software system, parts inventory, and order partsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred1 year experience in a related field requiredExperience with SMT equipment preferredPhysical requirements: Ability to lift/carry 25-50lbs, stand/walk for 8+ hours.Reasons you should work for us:Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.Basic life insurance and short-term disability coverage provided by employer.Supplemental life insurance and long-term disability coverage options available.401K with employer contribution.Personal, Vacation, and Holiday paid time off for all full-time employees.Onsite Aurora Health & Wellness Center available for all employees.Employees are continuously encouraged to learn and grow their careers in smart manufacturing.
