Employee Referral Bonus Program Job Responsibilities: Calling attorneys and insurance companies Verifying auto and worker's compensation policies over the phone Inputting insurance information into patients charts Utilizing the EHR Scanning and uploading verification forms Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalent. Working knowledge of insurance billing and collection procedures. Additional Skills/Competencies 2 years of medical/chiropractic insurance verification experience preferred. Auto and workers compensation insurance knowledge preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of computer applications, including Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office. Problem solving and organizational skills. Typing – 50+ WPM. Knowledge of insurance plans, workers’ compensation, and personal injury. Ability to effectively interact with doctors, attorneys, patients, and co-workers. Note taking and updating spreadsheets Other crucial Job performance skills Strong Organizational skills. Time-management skills. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. THIS ROLE IS ON SITE MON-FRI OUT OF OUR WARMINSTER OFFICE Physical/Mental Requirements Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
