This position supports program operations, participant engagement, administrative tasks, and social media content creation while helping further the mission of Christian’s Manor.About Christian’s ManorChristian’s Manor is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of poverty two generations at a time by supporting single-parent families through affordable housing, education, workforce development, and wraparound services.Position SummaryThe Program Specialist plays an important role in supporting participants, maintaining organized program operations, assisting with administrative responsibilities, and helping share the mission and impact of Christian’s Manor through social media and community outreach.This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of families.ResponsibilitiesProgram & Participant SupportCommunicate with prospective and current program participantsAssist with applications and participant documentationHelp coordinate workshops, events, and participant engagement activitiesMaintain participant records and tracking systemsSupport outreach efforts and follow-up communicationAssist with childcare/activity coordination during workshops and eventsAdministrative SupportAnswer emails, phone calls, and general inquiriesAssist with scheduling, filing, data entry, and office organizationSupport preparation of reports, forms, and organizational documentsHelp maintain accurate records and compliance documentationAssist with administrative projects as neededSocial Media & Content CreationCreate engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platformsAssist with photos, captions, flyers, announcements, and promotional materialsHighlight participant success stories, workshops, events, and community partnershipsSupport branding and outreach efforts while maintaining a professional online presenceQualificationsStrong communication and organizational skillsProfessional, dependable, and detail-orientedComfortable multitasking in a fast-paced nonprofit environmentCreativity and familiarity with social media platformsExperience with Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or Smartsheet preferredBilingual (English/Spanish)Experience in nonprofit work, education, administrative support, communications, or social services preferredSchedule & CompensationPart-Time Position15- 20 hours per weekFlexible schedule with occasional evenings or weekends for workshops/eventsCompensation $15/hourIdeal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:Compassionate and people-centeredOrganized and proactiveCreative and comfortable with social media/content creationPassionate about supporting families and strengthening the communityA strong communicator with professionalism and initiativeTo ApplyPlease submit:ResumeBrief statement of interestSamples of social media or creative work (optional)Work Location: In person
