Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal indicators to identify at-risk clients. Follow established standards and guidelines for patient care. Manage telephone triage with professionalism, offering reassurance, accurate education, and clear instructions.2. Facilitate smooth healthcare service delivery throughout patient visits. Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and current. Initiate patient contact, prepare patients for examinations, and collect vital signs including weight, age, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, history, and chief complaints. Monitor patients for abnormal signs, communicate findings to physicians, and document accordingly. Confirm patient understanding of physician instructions upon discharge. Accurately document medical records and billing information in electronic systems.3. Support testing and treatment procedures under physician supervision. Assist with splint and dressing applications. Execute physician orders diligently. Manage sample medications and maintain logs. Coordinate patient testing, admissions, and referrals as needed. Retrieve test results and communicate with patients. Aid in preparation for minor surgeries and physical exams. Obtain consents prior to invasive procedures or immunizations. Distribute educational materials and ensure patient comprehension of treatments and medications. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs.4. Maintain clinical areas, equipment, and supplies. Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and stocked according to protocols. Sterilize instruments and verify equipment functionality.5. Perform additional duties as assigned.Education and Experience RequiredCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.
