M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts. WE FUEL UPTIME. The Logistics Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, primarily focusing on order accuracy and inventory support. This role plays a key part in ensuring our system (Prelude) runs smoothly and our back-end processes are efficient and accurate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Learn and become proficient in Prelude to support operational accuracy. Resolve daily system issues, including:Fixing back orders Ensuring pick tickets are correctly assigned Creating and processing transfer orders Entering and tracking credit memosMaintain accurate records and documentation for audit and tracking purposes. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Inventory & Core Management: Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain accurate inventory levels. Assist with inventory control and reconciliation as needed. Inspect cores and issue core credits as needed. Inventory Accuracy & Quality Control: Inspect order accuracy before accepting vendor deliveries. Perform quality checks on inventory. Conduct regular cycle counts. Report inventory discrepancies to leadership. Follow all company policies related to Loss Prevention. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Prior administrative or operations experience preferred Ability to learn and adapt to new systems (Prelude experience is a plus) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Good communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable with a fast-paced, evolving work environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening. Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 15 lbs.
