This dual-role position involves providing support to urologists and delivering essential nursing care to patients. The ideal candidate will be proficient in nursing care practices and demonstrate a compassionate approach to patient interaction. The Urology Tech functions under the direction of the RN and performs procedures related to orthopedic and urological care. This position requires flexibility in working in patient care areas throughout the hospital.\nSchedule\nFull-time | 60 hours every two weeks\nDays |12-hr shifts | 7 a.m.- 7:30 p.m.\nEvery 3rd weekend | every 3rd holiday\nPay and Benefits\nPay range: $20.71-31.68 per hour; exact rate determined by relevant experience\nEarn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts\nBenefits : medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!\nTuition reimbursement and college grant programs available\nQualifications\nSuccessful completion of a Nursing Assistant training course or completion of 3 months of a healthcare program required.\nMinimum of 3 months direct patient care experience acceptable in lieu of required education.\nMinimum of 3 months experience as nursing assistant, student nurse, medic, EMT or similar experience.\nAdditional training/orientation will be provided to achieve desired level of competency.\nBasic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.\nNCI certification.\n\nCentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
