This role requires strong collaboration with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions while maintaining best practices in coding, testing, and system design.\nThis position also plays a key leadership role, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring quality delivery across multiple application modules.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance multi-tier applications using Java/J2EE technologies and compatible frameworks.\nLead architectural discussions and requirement analysis, translating business needs into high-level and detailed technical designs.\nDevelop and consume RESTful and SOAP web services, ensuring secure and efficient integration across systems.\nBuild and maintain microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot, ensuring modularity, scalability, and fault tolerance.\nWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code following SOLID design principles and established design patterns.\nPerform thorough unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure application quality and reliability before deployment.\nLead and mentor a team of 5–10 developers by conducting code reviews, providing technical guidance, and ensuring delivery across multiple modules.\nCollaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery through CI/CD pipelines and adherence to SDLC best practices.\nDesign and optimize SQL and PL-SQL database schemas and queries, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.\nImplement secure coding practices aligned with PCI-DSS and OWASP security guidelines.\nManage defects, track progress, and maintain source code using tools such as Jira and Git or SVN.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation including architecture designs, API specifications, and deployment guides.\nIdentify opportunities for performance optimization, code refactoring, and development process improvements.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives while providing technical input and effort estimates.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience.\n6+ years of experience with Java, GIT, JIRA, Maven, Confluence, and the Spring Framework including Core, Boot, MVC, and AOP.\n6+ years of experience implementing complex full-stack solutions including APIs and microservices in large enterprise environments.\n4+ years of experience with databases and integrations including Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.\n4+ years of experience working with Amazon cloud services such as ELB, SQS, SES, SWF, SNS, and DynamoDB.\n4+ years of experience developing unit tests using frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.\n3+ years of experience working in Agile development environments.\nFlexible Working\nAt Conduent, we value individuality and flexible working arrangements.
