The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading floor plans and installing cable and devices according to detailed drawings and specifications.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\nInstall low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber, plenum/riser cable, etc.) in commercial environment.\r\nInterpret and follow floor plans, blueprints, and technical drawings\r\nInstall and terminate devices such as data jacks, wall plates, patch panels, and related hardware\r\nEnsure clean, organized, and code-compliant installations\r\nCollaborate with project managers and other trades on-site\r\nTroubleshoot and test installed systems for functionality\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and floor plans\r\nProven experience in low voltage cable installation\r\nFamiliarity with tools and techniques used in structured cabling including but not limited to:\r\nMulti-meter:AC/DC voltage, OHMS/Resistance, current\r\nLifts/Ladders, Scaffolding\r\n\r\nSteel and fiberglass fish-tape and push rods\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills\r\n\r\nReliable transportation and valid driver's license\r\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\r\n\r\nPreferred\r\n\r\nExperience with fire alarm, access control, security systems, and AV installations\r\nOSHA 10 or 30 certification\r\nIndustry certifications (BICSI, NICET, etc.)\r\n\r\nTech Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
