Learn more at www.cranecurrency.com.\nHow you will make an impact:\nAs a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes that support the production of secure, high-quality currency. You will analyze workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall process performance. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D teams, you will help drive innovation while maintaining rigorous quality and security standards. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the success of our manufacturing operations.\nSupport product validation trials and testing activities to ensure product quality and performance.\nCoordinate scale-up and validation trials with Supply Chain and R&D teams for new materials and product modifications.\nApply Six Sigma tools and methodologies to improve manufacturing processes and reduce variability.\nSupport the execution of reliable and safe manufacturing systems that improve production rates, yields, efficiencies, and costs.\nOptimize, troubleshoot, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality.\nConduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to minimize operational risks.\nPrepare detailed reports documenting trial results, process improvements, and implemented changes.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process enhancements and support manufacturing excellence.\nKnowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (such as Papermaking Technology, Pulp and Paper Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering) or equivalent experience.\nCo-op experience in a pulp and/or papermaking operation.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nTraining in statistical process control.\nExperience working on projects and processes to develop and improve systems.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with U.S. Government contract requirements.\nPreferred:\n3-5 years of industrial process engineering experience in the papermaking industry.\nSix Sigma Green Belt certification.\nSix Sigma Black Belt certification.\nHow we will care for you:\nWe offer top-notch benefits, including medical, dental, vision, company bonus plan, 401(K) match and more.
