We help our customers lower their spend on Cutting Tools while increasing machine uptime and parts produced by bringing state of the art cutting tool solutions to the spindle while optimizing speed and feed rates.\nThis position requires a unique blend of technical knowledge and abilities, proven time management skills, and a professional, persuasive, effective communication style that will deliver cost savings to our customers. This position also provides bonus opportunity up to 10% of annual salary.\nEssential job duties and Responsibilities include:\n- Cultivate strong working relationship with the customer\n- Evaluate and trouble shoot cutting tool operations to meet production and quality needs of our customers\n- Work with cutting tool manufacturers such as Iscar, Ingersoll, Sandvik, Kennametal etc. to provide the best cutting tool solution for a given application\n- Provide daily/ weekly reports related to cutting tool operations at a given customer's site\n- Monitor Tool performance and report any excessive usage , tool breaks etc. along with a solution to fix the problem\nSkills/Qualifications: Strong hands-on machining background with experience applying machine cutting tools in various workpiece materials, some past experience in CNC programming (manual and with CAM systems) desired and an ability to evaluate and articulate technical applications\nSuccessful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well independently as well as with others in a team environment and keep a cool head in stressful situations. Candidates should be highly organized, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintain an organized and clean work area, possess a good work ethic, demonstrate reliable and punctual work habits with a strong attention to details, demonstrate safety consciousness, be self-motivated with a proven capacity to multi-task, and conduct themselves professionally at all times.\nComputer literacy required; working knowledge of MS Window platform and MS Office programs preferred.\nIf you believe you have what it takes to join our impressive team, we would love to connect with you!
