The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL programming, relational database design, and performance tuning, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.\r\nBasic Job Requirements\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.\r\nOptimize existing queries and database structures for improved performance and scalability.\r\nCollaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.\r\nPerform data modeling, schema design, and documentation for new and existing projects.\r\nEnsure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.\r\nTroubleshoot database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and query optimization.\r\nSupport ETL processes and contribute to data integration initiatives.\r\nStay current with emerging database technologies and industry best practices.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nMinimum eight (8) years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer.\r\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL.\r\nStrong background in relational database management systems.\r\nProven expertise in query optimization and database performance tuning.\r\nExperience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and reporting tools.\r\nSolid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.\r\nFamiliarity with version control systems.\r\nExcellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business terms.\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\r\nPosition is on-site only\r\nM&S Consulting proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
