EMS Technician - Low Voltage Technician

Energy Management Solutions, LLC has an immediate need for a Low Voltage Technician in Louisiana, East TX, and Alabama. This position requires 80% travel throughout the Southeast. What You’ll Do: · This candidate will focus on installing and programming Access Control, including NOVAR, SPORLAN, AND EMERSON technologies. · Additional experience with Structured Cabling installation and manufacturer’s certification is a plus. This position will be based out of Shreveport, LA, Enterprise, AL, or East TX with up to 90% travel required throughout the Southeast. · Candidate should demonstrate a strong knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA) and must have a proven track record of working with all trades on construction sites in order to appropriately schedule daily activities. · The candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced team environment and interface regularly with Project Managers and Project Engineers Who You Are: · Possess a diverse knowledge with a wide range of low voltage systems. · Ability to lead installers and subcontractors, if in a supervisory position. · Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks. · Complete and submit all required task-related activity and documentation in a timely manner · Troubleshooting and repairing network and controls systems · Isolate and test equipment to diagnose system and wiring faults · Ability to operate safely and promote a safety culture within the organization · NICET Level I certification is preferred.
