They ensure that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently, while adhering to safety and quality standards. The Utility Operator also performs routine checks on the equipment and reports any issues to the maintenance team. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and efficient production of high-quality animal feed and supplements.\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\n\nAbility to operate and maintain production equipment.\nAttention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality standards.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nBasic computer skills for record keeping and data entry.\nPhysical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.\nProblem-solving skills to troubleshoot production issues.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\n\nMonitoring the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment.\nBeing a reliable team member with prompt attendance and excellent performance.\nCommunicating with team members and leadership to improve processes.\nKeeping the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products.\nStrictly adhering to safety guidelines throughout the facility.\nPerforming all processes in accordance with all Standard Operating Procedures, including the operation of mixing, bagging, spray drying, fluid bed drying and powered lift equipment.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\n\nNone\nEducation and Experience:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nExperience in feed, grain or supplement processing or manufacturing preferred.\nAbility to work any shift preferred\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nMust be physically able to operate motor vehicle and forklift.\nAbility to lift up to 50-55 pounds repeatedly\nAbility to wear a respirator (in some designated areas)\nMust past post-offer physical and drug screen\nAbility to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.\nAbility to work in a production environment with varying temperature and noise levels.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team that values your expertise and invests in your growth.
