People like you.\nVisit our\ncareers\npage to see what exciting opportunities and company\nperks\nawait!\nJob Description:\nPosition Summary:\nThe Quality Inspector III serves as a senior-level quality professional responsible for performing advanced inspections, mentoring junior inspectors, and driving process improvements within the Quality Management System. This role requires deep knowledge of inspection techniques, standards, and quality processes and acts as a key liaison between Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nPerform complex and detailed inspections on materials, components, and assemblies to ensure full compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.\nLead and oversee the coordination of inspection and functional line test activities within the manufacturing system.\nTrain and mentor Quality Inspector I and II personnel on inspection methods, documentation practices, and quality standards.\nConduct root cause analysis and assist in corrective/preventive actions for nonconforming materials.\nWrite and manage nonconformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution.\nSupport and improve AS9100-compliant QMS processes, forms, and documentation.\nCollaborate closely with Engineering and Supply Chain to evaluate supplier quality and provide feedback.\nLead continuous improvement efforts focused on inspection accuracy, efficiency, and cost reduction.\nMaintain a high level of professional competence and represent the Quality department in cross-functional meetings.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.\n5+ years of quality inspection experience (electronics or machining industry strongly preferred).\nExpert knowledge of inspection equipment, measurement systems, and calibration practices.\nStrong familiarity with MIL-PRF-19500, MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-STD-750, and AS9100 standards.\nProficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Axapta preferred) and quality databases.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data entry and reporting.\nDemonstrated ability to train, mentor, and lead others effectively.\nExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently.\nThis position required travel of 0 – 10%\nU.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
