Position: Senior Intelligence AnalystLocation: Washington D.C.Work Environment: On-siteClearance Required: TS/SCI clearance prior to starting workStatus: ContingentKnowesis is looking for a Senior Intelligence Analyst to provide analytic risk advisory services supporting CISA NRMC Foreign Investment Risk Branch (FIRB) case reviews and investigations. This position conducts open-source intelligence research, risk analysis, and risk communication with specialized capabilities in core areas of interest, including open-source intelligence research and analysis, supply chain risk management, and financial risk analysis. The analyst supports efficient analytic workflow, information, and knowledge management of FIRB cases, reviews, and various program support projects.The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Perform open-source intelligence research and analysis on transactions, applications, and equipment details and assess the criticality of findingsDocument and write products of intelligence research based on case materials to advance identification and analysis of case vulnerabilities and development of mitigation recommendationsInterpret identified vulnerabilities, consequences, and potential mitigations of subject matter experts and review with intelligence research and case materials to perform holistic analysis to assess overall riskWrite clear, actionable assessments of risk brought by completion of a transaction or approval of an application directly associated with CISA and DHS equitiesWrite clear, actionable assessments of risk and recommendations for how to mitigate compliance risk based on case material and SME input/analysis of compliance caseworkReview and input to Risk Based Assessments (RBAs), Letters of Agreement (LOAs), and National Security Agreements (NSAs) to assist and advise with development and monitoringWrite products to prepare for, execute, and document site visits to confirm compliance and remediation workTrack, report, and manage workflows for various case review processes within FIRB, including foreign investment risk review case lifecyclesConduct case data and records management, including entry and cleaning of key dataConduct case data communication, including development of reports, graphics, and other materials required to explain analysis and resultsDocument and write products supporting identification and investigation of risks and vulnerabilitiesAnalyze broad-based cybersecurity and technology and perform research studies to support identification of vulnerabilities and assessment of consequences of exploitationDocument meeting results as pertains to casework, both internal and external to FIRBMaintain or improve tracking and reporting systems through which cases are managed and metrics are gatheredDevelop training products and artifacts for any new or modifications to program processesProvide training and support for new staff, including federal employees, on program processesRepresent CISA and NRMC and participate in Government meetings in coordination with FIRB federal employeesConduct and document interagency communications as needed to maintain awareness of case work status or provide updates relative to CISA's equitiesObtain, maintain, and utilize access to intelligence tools (such as Wirescreen, Sayari, LexisNexis, Pitchbook, DJRC, Highergov) to enhance research and improve risk analysisUse templates and reporting forms, both internal and external, for case documentation, case correspondence, and other internal functionsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (preference given for areas relating to national security or STEM field related to a core area of FIRB interest, and/or collection, analysis, and distribution of intelligence information)At least 8 years of work experience in a research and analysis or intelligence position, OR at least 1 year experience working within FIRBDemonstrated ability to conduct independent, data-driven research and analysisProficiency with essential tools, including Microsoft Office 365 applications and SharePoint OnlineProficiency with a variety of intelligence research tools, such as Wirescreen, Sayari, LexisNexis, Pitchbook, DJRC, or HighergovProficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPointProficient in searching and obtaining documents from the Internet or other data sourcesPossess TS/SCI clearance prior to starting workDemonstrated project and team management abilityPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in national security, intelligence studies, business intelligence, or related fieldExperience working within FIRB or similar foreign investment risk analysis programsExperience with CFIUS or Team Telecom case reviewsKnowledge of critical infrastructure sectors and emerging technology trendsCertification in data analysis or business intelligence toolsExperience with financial risk analysis and supply chain risk managementBenefits: Health (PPO & HDHP) Insurance, Dental, Vision, STD & LTD, Basic Life Insurance, 401k Company Match, & Voluntary Products.Knowesis is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals based on merit and qualifications.
