A strong capability in data analysis, automation, and digital tools—particularly Microsoft Excel—is essential, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, CAD/CAM systems, and CNC programming.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality\nTroubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner\nDevelop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions\nSupport new product launches, including process development, tooling, fixturing, and validation\nMonitor and analyze production data (efficiency, scrap, downtime) to drive decision-making\nDevelop and maintain Excel-based tools for tracking, reporting, and process optimization\nAutomate repetitive tasks and reporting through advanced Excel functions (macros, VBA, Power Query) or other programming tools\nCollaborate with quality teams to investigate nonconformances and implement root cause corrective actions\nAssist in the design of fixtures, tooling, and production aids using CAD software\nSupport CNC machining operations, including program review, optimization, and troubleshooting\nInterpret and, when necessary, create or modify CNC programs using G-code and M-code\nWork with CAM software to develop and optimize machining strategies (preferred)\nWork with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime\nLead or participate in continuous improvement efforts (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)\nSupport cost reduction initiatives, including material usage and cycle time improvements\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards\nQualifications\nTechnical education, training, or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing, machining, or engineering-related field required\n(Associate degree, trade school, apprenticeship, or relevant work experience all considered)\n2–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required), including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis\nExperience with Excel automation tools (VBA, macros, Power Query) strongly preferred\nProgramming or scripting experience (preferred) such as Python, SQL, or similar tools\nExperience with CAD software (preferred), specifically SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD\nExposure to CAM software and CNC machining processes (preferred)\nUnderstanding of CNC programming, including G-code and M-code (preferred)\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems (preferred)\nStrong communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Skills\nHands-on experience with CNC machining, fabrication, or assembly processes\nFamiliarity with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)\nKnowledge of process capability (Cp/Cpk) and statistical analysis\nExperience with database management or data extraction (SQL)\nFamiliarity with automation, scripting, or API integration\nWork Environment\nManufacturing/production floor and office environment\nMay require standing, walking, and occasional lifting\nExposure to machinery, noise, and industrial conditions\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nProduction efficiency (OEE)\nScrap and rework reduction\nDowntime reduction\nCycle time improvements\nData accuracy and reporting effectiveness\nProcess automation improvements and time savings\nCost savings from improvement initiatives\nDepending upon task, the following safety gear may be required: Long pants, safety-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, etc.\nPay: $50,000.00 -
