The Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.\n\nEssential Functions: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:\n\nRegular, reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely.\nConduct daily equipment inspections and immediately report mechanical issues to maintenance.\nMaintain the equipment battery by checking water levels and connecting to charging station.\nUnload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.\nEfficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.\nPull and prepare product for picking and shipping ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.\nMove levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.\nPosition forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.\nKeep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.\nLoad or unload products onto and off pallets, skids or lifting devices.\nMove materials from storage of work sites to designated area.\nOperate RF scanner 90% of the time.\nFollow safety rules to maintain personal safety and the safety of others, including maintaining a clean and safe work area.\nOperate equipment in a manner that is compliant with OSHA Standards.\nStock new boxes by box size on the pullers side of the line.\n\nNon-Essential Functions:\n\nOther duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.\n\nQualifications:\n\nMinimum one year of experience in the safe and competent operation of powered industrial truck(s) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.\nMust be able to pass the ReaderLink Powered Industrial Truck Safety & Certification training course to obtain a license valid for three years.\nBasic computer skills with WMS, RF and scanning experience.\n\nPhysical Requirements: The requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
