If so, we'd love to have you apply for our Front Desk Representative position.\n\nAs a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, clients, and visitors at our primary reference lab. Your role will be critical in delivering outstanding service and supporting the smooth operation of our facility. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.\n\nPay: Starts at $17.50 per hour\n\nSchedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm\n\nBenefits:\n\nMedical, Dental, Vision with In-Network & Custom Network discounts\n401(K) with discretionary employer match\nPaid Time Off\nFree clinical diagnostic laboratory testing performed in house\nWhat You'll Bring:\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent\nCustomer Focus: Previous customer service experience and a genuine commitment to helping others\nTech Confidence: Comfortable using computers, learning new programs, and navigating basic keyboard functions\nAttention to Detail: A careful, accurate approach to data entry and financial transactions\nCommunication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with a wide range of people\nOffice Savvy: Comfortable working with computers, phones, printers, and other standard office equipment\n\nEssential Job Functions:\n\nUse of on-line Patient Registration to accurately register patients\nUse of the Laboratory Information System (LIS) to look up and print patient orders\nAccurately make change and manage $200 cash drawer\nPerform data entry and accurately track patient payments\nUnderstand other departments and how they interact with the operations of the organization\nParticipate in Quality Assurance Monitors\nFollow all established I.Q. protocols\nTake Customer Service phone calls and follow up of patient and client requests\nFiling, use of copy machine, phone system and calculator as needed\nUnderstand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to assure patient confidentiality\n\nMaintain consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance to ensure continuity of operations and support for our team and patients\n\nPerform other work-related duties as assigned\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nAbility to sit or stand for long periods while working at the desk or assisting patients.\nOccasional lifting of small items (up to 10-15 lbs).\nFrequent use of a keyboard and mouse for data entry.\nMoving around the office or laboratory to assist visitors and retrieve documents.\nAbility to speak clearly and hear effectively when interacting with others.\nOccasional bending or reaching for files or supplies.\n\nOSHA Category: This position may occasionally perform tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues.
