You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial matters, ensuring clients achieve their strategic goals while successfully mitigating legal and financial risks.What You'll Be DoingAdvise business clients on corporate formation, governance, and general operational matters to support their long-term stability and growthDraft, negotiate, and successfully close complex commercial and financing agreements on behalf of both borrowers and lending institutionsOversee commercial and residential real estate transactions, guiding buyers, sellers, and lenders smoothly through the closing processPrepare and review a wide array of business contracts to protect client interests and facilitate successful transactionsManage a diverse portfolio of client cases independently while effectively coordinating with fellow attorneys to deliver comprehensive legal solutionsHandle occasional estate planning and probate matters to provide full-circle support to the firm's established clienteleWhat Skills You’ll NeedJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive admission to the Maine State Bar or eligibility for admission3+ years of proven solid business law or transactional experienceStrong background handling business entities, commercial contracts, real estate, and title workExcellent analytical and negotiation skillsYour Pay & PerksSalary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 per yearCore Benefits: Health insurance, Life insurance, comprehensive retirement plan w/ matching, and Paid Time Off (PTO)Why Work With Us Since 1987, Springborn Staffing has been connecting talented professionals with great opportunities across Maine and New England.
