{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"181277149d4e720f25ca4f1f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/181277149d4e720f25ca4f1f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/181277149d4e720f25ca4f1f","title":"Sr. Certification Engineer","description":"Job Title: Sr. Certification Engineer\nJob Location: Atlanta, GA(Onsite)\nDuration: 12+ Months\nAbout the Role\nThe Sr. Certification Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with aircraft certification processes and managing certification projects.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop certification plans, compliance checklists, conformity inspection plans\nDevelop substantiation reports and test plans / reports for flammability and cabin safety.\nDraft certification presentations for all meetings and manage small STC / PMA projects for certification requirements including data deliverables from suppliers, and coordinating responses to inquiries, significant certification issues and airworthiness concerns.\nIdentify applicable airworthiness requirements for proposed major design changes.\nSupport the relationship with FAA regulatory agencies via project presentations.\nInterface with customers, suppliers and other project stakeholders pertaining to certification of modification projects.\nQualifications\nB.S. in aerospace or mechanical engineering or related scientific field strongly preferred.\nFour (4) to seven (7) years overall work experience in an engineering role.
