This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a vibrant setting that values customer satisfaction and team collaboration.\nDuties\nGreet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items.\nTake accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable.\nUpsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.\nServe food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.\nEnsure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.\nAssist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.\nHandle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.\nCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly.\nSupport guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction.\nRequirements\nPrevious experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.\nFamiliarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.\nStrong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management.\nAbility to upsell menu items confidently and demonstrate sales skills to enhance guest experiences.\nBasic math skills for order entry, bill calculation, and cash handling accuracy.\nGuest services experience including host/hostess or serving roles is advantageous.\nKnowledge of the food industry standards related to hospitality, guest relations, and food preparation is desirable.\nMust be able to work flexible hours including nights; previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates.
