This role focuses on designing and delivering reliable, high-quality software while contributing to technical discussions, improving engineering practices, and supporting team execution. You will work closely with senior engineers and architects to implement scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.\r\nWhat You Will Do Technical Delivery & Engineering Excellence Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software iteratively and incrementally.\r\nWorks closely with senior leaders to shape solutions.\r\nEnsures software follows modern engineering practices, including clean code, testing, automation, and cloud-native patterns.\r\nSupport continuous improvement in code quality, reliability, performance, and developer experience.\r\nCloud Engineering & Operational Support Build and enhance distributed, event-driven, and cloud-native solutions in AWS.\r\nApply cloud best practices—security, cost awareness, performance, and operational efficiency—under guidance of senior engineers.\r\nContribute to observability through metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerts.\r\nAssist in performance tuning, resiliency improvements, and troubleshooting production issues to ensure system stability.\r\nTeam Collaboration & Mentorship Collaborate effectively with Product, Architecture, InfoSec, and DevOps to deliver well-aligned solutions.\r\nContribute to a culture of learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.\r\nWhat Success Looks Like In the first 90 days: Deliver high-quality, production-ready code and contribute meaningfully to team goals.\r\nBuild strong working relationships within the engineering and product teams.\r\nIn 6–12 months: Co ownership of core components or services.\r\nCo Lead development of one or more important services with increasing autonomy.\r\nHelp improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.\r\nWhat You Bring 4 - 6 years of professional software engineering experience.\r\nStrong backend development experience with Java and Python.\r\nSolid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and query optimization.\r\nWorking knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, services, and best practices.\r\nExperience with modern databases (relational and NoSQL) such as DynamoDB, RDS, PostgreSQL, DocumentDB.\r\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration systems (ECS/EKS preferred).\r\nExperience with monitoring/observability tools such as CloudWatch or Datadog.\r\nAbility to produce clear technical documentation and participate in design discussions.\r\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.\r\nComfort working in Agile environments with iterative delivery and shared ownership.\r\nAbility to bring clarity to complex situations and drive work forward with teammates.\r\nWho You Are You are a hands-on engineer who enjoys building reliable systems and helping others grow.
