You’ll help improve reliability and performance through automation, monitoring, resiliency engineering, and troubleshooting in modern Linux environments.\n\nNote: Expect to spend up to ~50% of your day early on doing Linux system administration to learn the environment and supported systems.\n\nWhat you’ll do\nSupport mission operations tooling (automation, alerting, monitoring, resiliency)\nConfigure, troubleshoot, and maintain customer programming use cases\nPerform Linux system administration across multiple distributions\nBuild and maintain automation using Salt and Ansible\nCreate/support monitoring using tools like Nagios, Thruk, Prometheus, Splunk, and Grafana\nTroubleshoot performance and operational issues in mission-critical environments\nSupport software integration and infrastructure deployments\nMaintain code repositories and development workflows\nPartner with engineering and operations teams to improve reliability and efficiency\nRequired qualifications\nActive TS/SCI with Polygraph\nStrong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and operational support experience (any of the following):\nRHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, SLES, Ubuntu\nExperience with at least one scripting/programming language:\nPython, C, and/or Bash\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, mission environment\nNice to have (strong plus)\n\nExperience with any of:\n\nThruk dashboards, Nagios (including plugins)\nSplunk dashboards/integrations\nPrometheus, Grafana\nSalt, Ansible\nGitBucket\nJira, Confluence\nSlurm\n\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
