This is an excellent opportunity for someone who excels in a traditional EA role and is interested in growing into a more operational or strategic position over time.\r\nThis role is 70–80% executive support with 20–30% exposure to broader operational initiatives, with the opportunity to expand scope over time. This is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days a week onsite.\r\nMajor Responsibilities\r\nExecutive Support to the CEO\r\nManage a complex, high-volume calendar, ensuring alignment with priorities and efficient use of time\r\nCoordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and logistics\r\nTriage incoming communications, including email, and help prioritize and respond as appropriate\r\nPrepare the CEO for meetings by gathering materials, summarizing key points, and tracking follow-ups\r\nDraft and send follow-up communications on behalf of the CEO, including with investors and external stakeholders\r\nAnticipate needs and proactively address issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations\r\nBoard & Investor Coordination\r\nOwn scheduling and logistics for board meetings and investor interactions\r\nCoordinate preparation and distribution of board materials\r\nTrack action items and ensure timely follow-up\r\nOperational & Administrative Support\r\nSupport coordination with external partners, including HR consultants, legal counsel, and other vendors\r\nAssist with basic HR and administrative processes as needed\r\nHelp manage contracts, documentation, and internal tracking systems\r\nTeam & Company Support\r\nAct as a central point of coordination across leadership, project managers, and external stakeholders\r\nSupport internal communication and ensure alignment on key activities\r\nStep in to support ad hoc projects and company needs as they arise\r\nQualifications\r\nEducation\r\nBachelor's degree in the Life Sciences, Business Operations or relevant field\r\nSkills & Competencies\r\n5–8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior executives in biotech, life sciences, or a high-growth startup environment\r\nProven ability to manage complex calendars and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment\r\nExperience supporting board meetings and interacting with investors or senior stakeholders\r\nStrong judgment and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion\r\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal\r\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong follow-through\r\nComfortable working across a range of responsibilities, from administrative tasks to light operational support\r\nInterest in growing into broader operational responsibilities over time is a plus\r\n$115,000 - $145,000 a year\r\nFinal compensation will be based on a candidate's qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
