Create scalable data pipelines, optimizing data storage solutions, and ensure data integrity and security in the CAE C/HPC environment.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nSupport the development of open architectures and applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to ensure they are best suited for Cloud deployment and consumption.\nSupport the adoption of Cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities as Big Data/Analytics, design, development, troubleshoot, and implementation of cloud solutions\nZettabyte Technologies\nWork closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant.\nEffectively Interface with Customer personnel at varying organizational levels\nMust be self-motivated and expected to work independently with minimal supervision\nReport status on tasks and assignments\nMust be able to generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs, requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of basic technical writing skills.\nMust be able to perform effectively as part of a project \"team\".\nExperience with several of the following tools and Platforms Docker, Linux, VMware, Condor, Large Data Storage.\nMonitoring Software\nCommunicate with Upper and Mid-level Management\nManage High Performance Computing Environments\nActive Directory Administration\nNetwork Administration\n\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nBA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required.\nMinimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Storage, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on premise and cloud resources\nMinimum of 5+ years networking and server operating system experience\nMinimum of 5+ years experience in container management technologies like Docker and Kubernetes\nExperience using a source code repository such as Git\nExperience using a defect management system such as Jira\nExperience using Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting languages\nProven success in a fast-paced development environment and possess a willingness to take ownership, accept accountability, and thrive under pressure\nStrong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.\nProven track record of building relationships, fostering collaboration and working cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams\nDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.\n\nPreferred Skills\nBelow is a list of skills that would greatly help the candidate succeed and thrive in this environment.\nAbility to work well in a team environment\nExcellent communications skills\nAbility to self-task and explore areas for improvement on their own\nSecurity Responsibilities\nMust comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
