Project Manager - Joint Venture

Summary:The Project Manager (JV) is responsible for leading and delivering large-scaleheavy civil and mission-critical infrastructure projects executed through aJoint Venture partnership. This includes transportation, water, and energyinfrastructure as well as site development and enabling works for hyperscaledata centers. This role oversees all aspects of project execution, includingcoordination between JV partners, contract compliance, cost control, scheduling,risk management, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager ensuresalignment with JV agreements while driving project performance, safety, quality,and accelerated delivery objectives typical of data center and other largeprojects. This role would ideally sit in Atlanta, but we are open to operatingremotely out of another large Southern Metro area.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Project Leadership & ExecutionLeads and supports business development efforts, including pursuit strategy,proposal preparation, cost estimating, and preconstruction planning to positionprojects for successful executionLead planning and execution of heavy civil and site infrastructure projects,including highways, bridges, utilities, grading, and large-scale data centercampus developmentDeliver projects safely, on time, and within budgetDevelop and manage detailed execution plans that integrate civil,structural, and utility scopes supporting mission-critical facilitiesJoint Venture CoordinationServe as the primary coordination point between JV partners, ensuringalignment on scope, schedule, cost, and governanceNavigate differing partner systems, processes, and cultures to maintainunified project deliverySupport JV governance processes, including executive reporting, approvals,and financial structuresContract & Commercial ManagementManage complex contracts, including design-build and EPC delivery modelscommon in both heavy civil and data center developmentOversee change management, claims, and dispute resolutionCoordinate procurement and subcontracting strategies, including long-leadmaterials and equipment impacting critical path schedulesFinancial OversightMonitor project financial performance, including cost forecasting,productivity tracking, and cash flowEnsure consistent cost reporting across JV entitiesManage budgets associated with large-scale earthwork, utilities, andinfrastructure tied to mission-critical facilitiesRisk ManagementIdentify and mitigate risks related to accelerated schedules, permitting,utility coordination, and evolving client requirementsAddress risks associated with concurrent construction activities andoverlapping trades typical in data center projectsEnsure risk allocation aligns with JV and client contract termsStakeholder & Client RelationsAct as primary interface with owners, including public agencies and privatedevelopersCoordinate with utilities and third-party stakeholdersMaintain clear communication on schedule milestones, particularly forapplicable phased turnoverSafety & QualityEnforce strict safety standards across multi-employer job sitesEnsure quality control for civil works supporting high-reliabilityfacilities, including foundations, underground utilities, and site systemsTeam LeadershipLead cross-functional teams from multiple JV partners, including fieldoperations, engineering, and project controlsFoster collaboration in high-pressure, schedule-driven environmentsBuild teams capable of supporting rapid mobilization and scaling typical oflarge projectsQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.
