The role combines business‑focused user acceptance testing with data validation, analytics, API testing, and production readiness activities to ensure high‑quality data products before deployment. This position is located at a client site in either Reston, VA and a hybrid working model is acceptable.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nExecute end‑to‑end UAT for data, APIs, and GenAI outputs.\n\nPerform SQL queries and API validation, including nested JSON payloads.\n\nVerify JSON data structures and source‑to‑target reconciliation.\n\nSupport AWS‑based analytics platforms and troubleshoot data quality issues.\n\nDocument test cases, results, and defect management.\n\nOnboard users, produce documentation, SOPs, and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.\n\nProvide production support and resolve issues during application rollout and post‑deployment stabilization.\n\nQualifications & Skills\n\n5+ years of experience in data analytics, software development, data engineering, production support, monitoring, visualization, and business enablement.\n\nStrong experience in Business User Acceptance Testing (UAT): test planning, execution, defect management, regression testing, and production readiness.\n\nAdvanced SQL skills for validating complex datasets and troubleshooting data quality issues.\n\nHands‑on experience with AWS-based data and analytics environments.\n\nExperience validating REST APIs, nested JSON payloads, and API integrations using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.\n\nProficiency with Python (pandas, NumPy, JSON processing) for data validation and analytics workflows.\n\nExperience supporting GenAI‑enabled reporting solutions, including prompt‑assisted data extraction and validation of AI‑generated summaries, narratives, tables, and visualizations.\n\nAbility to analyze data trends, identify anomalies, and verify business rule compliance before production releases.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira.\n\nStrong communication skills for working with business users, developers, QA teams, and product owners.\n\nExperience developing user documentation, onboarding materials, SOPs, and conducting knowledge‑transfer sessions.\n\nUnderstanding of data governance, model validation, and enterprise delivery standards within regulated industries, preferably finance.\n\nProven ability to provide production support and resolve issues during rollout and post‑deployment stabilization.\n\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or another related quantitative discipline.\n\nCompensation\nEstimated compensation range: $89,600–$139,300 (U.S.).\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive compensation, comprehensive insurance options, matching contributions through the 401(k) plan and share purchase plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, learning opportunities and tuition assistance, wellness and well‑being programs.\n\nEEO and Accommodations\nCGI provides equal employment opportunity and reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities.
