As an EMT at Apex EMS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of patients to and from healthcare facilities. You will work closely with other EMTs and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care during transit.\nResponsibilities:\nSafely operate and maintain emergency vehicles.\nRespond promptly to non-emergency and emergency calls.\nProvide basic life support (BLS) and patient care as needed.\nAssist with patient transfers, ensuring comfort and safety.\nMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care.\nInspect and restock medical equipment and supplies.\nAdhere to all company protocols and state regulations.\nQualifications:\nCurrent Illinois EMT-B or EMT-P certification.\nValid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nCurrent CPR/BLS certification.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 125 pounds.\nCommitment to providing compassionate and professional care.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious experience in non-emergency medical transport or EMS.\nFamiliarity with local healthcare facilities and communities.\nBenefits:\nFlexible scheduling options.\nOpportunities for professional growth and advancement.\nSupportive and collaborative work environment.\nHow to Apply:\nSubmit your resume and a brief cover letter detailing your experience and why you’re interested in joining Apex EMS.
