BCMC supports a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment, including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAct as the SME for Atlassian tools (Jia, Jira Align, Confluence, etc..).\nProvide recommendations and deploy sustainable architecture throughout multiple environments\nProvide day-to-day operational support activities as well as strategic planning initiatives with Atlassian tools\nCollaborate within Agile Scrum team as a key contributor responsible for converting proprietary vendor code for integration with multiple advanced cybersecurity-oriented capabilities.\nCreate interfaces and interaction layers using industry best practices, latest web trends/technologies and associated tools\nWork with customers, testers, and administrators to develop, test, and deploy software builds\nDevelop high quality technical documentation, as needed, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nU.S. Citizenship\nActive DoD Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.\nMust be able to obtain DHS Suitability\n6+ years of software development experience required.\n4+ years of hands-on experience with Java development and related technologies\n2+ years of experience with Agile software development\nExperienced in the development lifecycle of supporting and customizing Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Align, Confluence) to meet the needs & demands of enterprise stakeholders\nSolid understanding and hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems\nSolid understanding and working experience with cloud technologies, i.e. AWS, Azure\nPossesses or quickly develops a comprehensive understanding of Government Information Security policies, regulations, and guidelines\nMust be able to work collaboratively across agencies and physical locations\n\nDesired Skills:\n\nTechnical understanding of account management and user authentication solutions\nExperience with JavaScript, XML and SQL\nExperience and/or familiarity with Continuous Development / Continuous Integration concepts, and tools\nExperience with integrations utilizing cutting-edge and cloud technologies\nExperience working with HSPD-12\nDHS experience\n\nRequired Education:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, OR Computer Systems Engineering. Eight (8) years of experience (for a total of fourteen (14) or more years) may be substituted for a degree. A Master’s degree in a related discipline may substitute for two (2) years of experience. A PhD may substitute for four (4) years of experience •Professional experience may be substituted for a degree.
