NEC develops innovative digital learning tools and applications that support NPS graduate-level instruction and academic programming. This position will bridge software development, educational technology, and interactive media to deliver cutting-edge learning applications for NPS students and faculty. This position will design, develop, and maintain interactive online educational applications, simulations, and dashboards, ensuring NPS has modern, reliable, and user-friendly digital tools that enhance the teaching and learning experience.\n\nFWI is expanding rapidly and has been recognized as a 2024 and 2025 Top Workplace by the Washington Post, offering excellent growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.\n\nWork Schedule and Location:\n\nOn-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain interactive online educational applications\nProgram simulations, dashboards, and multimedia applets for computer, tablet, and mobile platforms\nMaintain code inventories; research emerging programming and media development trends\nProvide consultation on media graphics for student academic projects\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBA/BS degree in computer programming or relevant discipline.\n3 years of experience designing, developing, debugging, and implementing software.\nDesired:\nIndependent programming experience including design, specifications, integration, testing, QA, technical documentation, and effectiveness assessment.\nAbility to perform feasibility analysis for future projects.\n\nWhy Join Our Team:\n\nAt FWI, we place the highest importance on creating an exceptional employee experience.
