We have an extensive management training program that will give you all of the necessary tools to succeed at this job and any future position you desire. If you lack the leadership experience but are still interested in starting with us to grow into that position please make that clear while we are setting you up for an interview. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly and positive.\n\nAssistant Manager Responsibilities:\n\nExceeding customer expectations in regards to service and store cleanliness\n\nSupervising all financial aspects of food cost and labor goals for the shift and measured periods\n\nPreparing and following labor schedules and product projections\n\nTraining, supervising, and motivating crew members\n\nPreparations of products and maintaining quality to meet Jimmy John's brand standards\n\nMonitoring and use of all store service equipment\n\nRequirements:\n\nAbility to work at least 44 hours/week\n\nAt least 18 years of age\n\nAt least 6 months of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)/ Fast Food experience – managerial experience preferred, but not required\n\nAbility to handle fast‑paced and high stress situations in the store\n\nOrganize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision\n\nWilling to offer opinions and recommendations towards the store and employees\n\nReliable transportation\n\nExcellent communication, management/leadership and organizational skills\n\nPhysical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 25lbs. from one area to another occasionally)\n\nAttendance and punctuality a must!!!\n\nA team player committed to world‑class customer satisfaction\n\nA willingness to learn and be redirected by their supervisor in order to achieve maximum teamwork, efficiency and customer satisfaction\n\nBenefits:\n\nEarn an opportunity to be promoted from within to a salaried General Manager role\n\nExcellent training programs\n\nStrong career and salary growth potential\n\nReward and recognition culture\n\nPaid training\n\nFlexible scheduling (4‑day or 5‑day schedule)\n\nFull‑time employees are eligible for our company‑match 401(K) program\n\nFull‑time employees are eligible for our company‑sponsored Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance plans\n\nFull‑time salaried Assistant Managers earn paid time‑off\n\nTo qualify for this opportunity, you are eligible to work in the U.S. and meet the age requirements and experience outlined within the application.
