Extend is backed by some of the most prominent technology investors in the industry, and our headquarters is in downtown San Francisco.\nWhat You'll Do:\nCreate reusable infrastructure components using infrastructure-as-code technologies to allow teams to manage their own infrastructure needs\nMature the CI/CD pipeline to enable teams to scale in a self-service way to help reduce deployment cost and time\nCollaborate with product engineering teams to design scalable infrastructure and deployment patterns for customer facing solutions\nAct as an expert in AWS technologies by providing guidance on appropriate AWS solutions to address business needs\nMentor and provide guidance to new engineers on best practices and designs related to CI / CD or AWS technologies\nLead dynamic project efforts related to improving or enabling new technologies throughout Extend\nWhat We Are Looking For:\n4+ years experience in a DevOps engineering role\n2+ years experience with CDK, AWS CloudFormation, or other infrastructure-as-code systems (like Terraform)\n2+ years experience or certification in AWS serverless technologies (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)\nKnowledge of best practices around security roles/policies for AWS IAM\nExperience working with monitoring services (CloudWatch, DataDog)\nExperience with CI/CD Tooling such as BitBucket Actions, Jenkins, CodeBuild or others\nAbility to perform in a high energy environment with dynamic job responsibilities and priorities\nNice to Haves:\nExperience with AWS Cloud Development Kit(CDK)\nExperience with Typescript\nExpected Pay Range: $150,000 - $180,000 per year salaried*\nThe target base salary range for this position is listed above.
