Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nPOSITION LOCATION: Seattle, WA\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.\nPerforms troubleshooting and/or testing of various electrical, systems, circuits, controls, instruments and equipment, onboard military shore facilities, Navy ships/vessels to include submarines and/or ship’s components and documents test requirements.\nPossesses ability to install and test Analogue to Digital interfaces, Programable Logic Controllers and other electronic devices.\nQualified as a fiber optics technician with the ability to install, connect and test fiber plant equipment.\nConducts voltage and other electrical safety checks.\nRepairs electrical equipment such as: motors, switches, radios, appliances, control panels, starters, navigation lights and lighting equipment.\nPerforms connections/hook-ups to panels, switches, and boxes.\nProficient in pulling cables in cableways and bulkhead and deck stuffing tubes.\nAssists Electrical Lead in identifying discrepancies in drawings.\nMay supervise small teams of electricians.\nFill out objective quality evidence (OQE) forms.\nPerforms all work in accordance with established safety procedures.\nEmployees may be required to travel to work to other locations.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
