We have clients in Greece, France, UK, Argentina, Spain, the US, and Taiwan.\n\nJob Description\n\nWe are looking for a strong Senior Front End Engineer who has strong experience with React. You will be a key member of our small frontend development team making important technical decisions. If you love to code, like to build APIs, and enjoy working on unique challenges within a collaborative team of developers to build meaningful products, then please apply.\nIf you have experience with Scrum and can lead a small group of developers, that is a HUGE bonus.\nIf you are a ‘uber developer’, you will move to the front of the line. Essentially, ‘uber developer' is a jack of all trades who can do a little bit of everything. In addition to being a developer, this person is also a software architect and can help with some high level software design decisions. We also need the uber developer to do code review, provide some technical guidance to the junior developers, to help do some mentoring, support, and maybe a bit of training.\nFrameworks and Languages\n\nJavaScript\nReact\nRedux\nNode\nWork with design and other teams to develop new customer-facing features and maintain existing ones.\nCreate libraries, components and tools to ensure maximum performance with a top-notch user experience.\nImprove development experience to delight your teammates.\nThink like a product owner: what will delight users? What are the acceptable risks?\nHelp colleagues review and test code\n\nWhat you will do:\no Build and maintain frontend architecture\no Collaborate with backend engineering, product, and design teams to write, test, and deploy code\no Create new and innovative features for our users\no Optimize pages for maximum speed\no Solve problems creatively and efficiently\nSteer architectural discussions and build consensus among team members\nHelp drive best practices, collaboration, and process improvements\nDiagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks\nMaintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality\nMentor and coach fellow teammates\nWhat You’ll Need\n\nSignificant production React or React Native experience on a medium to large scale application\nDemonstrated experience mentoring other engineers and setting team best practices\nAbility to write clean and well-tested TypeScript code\nPassion for doing the right things, collaborating, and team building\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nQualifications\n\nAre you able to work the hours of Mon-Fri, 9 AM to 6 PM, Eastern Standard Time?\nAre you able and willing to work outside of traditional local hours, if need be?\nWhat is your level of English proficiency?
