This role is focused on building and operating the infrastructure that keeps a high-availability, enterprise-scale platform running — CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, security-embedded delivery, and automated environment management.\nYou will work embedded within an Agile delivery organization, partnering with software development Scrum teams to ensure reliable, repeatable deployments and a hardened platform that meets the security and performance demands of a national security mission. If you thrive in a pipeline-and-platform role and want long-term stability on a meaningful IC program, this is that opportunity.\nResponsibilities will include, but not limited to: Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads across development, test, and production environments.\nAdminister and maintain Kubernetes clusters — including RBAC, networking, ingress controllers, secrets management, autoscaling, and lifecycle upgrades.\nPackage and deploy services using Helm and Kustomize with repeatable, versioned release strategies aligned to GitOps standards.\nAutomate environment provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tooling, embedding security controls and compliance checks at every stage of the pipeline.\nImplement and enforce DevSecOps practices including automated security scanning, policy-as-code, and audit-ready pipeline documentation.\nPartner with development Scrum teams during Agile ceremonies to support deployment planning, environment readiness, and release coordination.\nContribute to platform observability — monitoring, alerting, and incident response — to sustain operational uptime as the program's primary mandate.\nMinimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience & a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (or 4 additional years of experience).\nHands‑on Kubernetes experience in a production or production‑equivalent environment — cluster administration, RBAC, networking, and workload management.\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent tooling.\nDocker containerization experience — building images, managing container lifecycle, and running multi‑service environments.\nFamiliarity with GitOps principles and tools (ArgoCD, Flux, or equivalent) for declarative, automated deployments.\nActive Security+ certification required prior to start date.\nPreferred Qualifications: Experience with Helm chart development and Kustomize overlays for environment‑specific configuration management.\nInfrastructure as Code experience: Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent for repeatable environment automation.\nFamiliarity with security scanning tools integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Snyk, Trivy, SonarQube, or equivalent).\nExperience working in a cleared or classified environment with an understanding of government security and compliance requirements.\nScripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar for pipeline automation and tooling support.\nExperience working within a SAFe or other scaled Agile environment alongside active software development teams.\nBackground in a Linux‑based operating environment (Red Hat preferred).\nClearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain & maintain a Polygraph.\nLocation: Herndon, VA.\nOn‑site full‑time at a designated secure facility. No remote option available.\nPhysical Requirements: This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, operate standard office equipment including a computer, keyboard, and telephone, and occasionally move about the work environment.
