This role oversees day-to-day maintenance operations supporting mechanical, electrical, automation, and select IT-related systems to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational uptime.Reporting to site leadership, the Facilities Supervisor leads a team of maintenance professionals, partners with vendors, and manages preventive maintenance programs while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards. The role is focused on operational execution, team leadership, and short-term site performance.What You'll Do (Responsibilities)Supervise daily facilities and maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, and automation systemsProvide work direction, assign priorities, resolve routine issues, and ensure completion of maintenance activitiesSupport and maintain conveyors, refrigeration systems, pneumatic systems, and facility equipmentOversee site preventive maintenance programs using a computerized PM management system (CMMS)Maintain accountability for spare parts inventory and usageReview reports, work orders, and equipment data to identify trends and maintenance prioritiesCoordinate vendor support for proprietary and commercial systemsInstall, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, networks, and peripheral devices related to facility systemsMaintain site safety and security programs, including LOTO, hazardous waste compliance, and inspectionsCreate and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and repair documentationHire, train, coach, and develop maintenance team membersPromote a safety-first culture and compliance with company policiesBasic Requirements(Aligned to Career Framework – Minimum Education & Typical Experience or Equivalent Combination)These must be clearly reflected on a resume:3+ years of facilities or maintenance experience, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibilityExperience supporting mechanical, electrical, or facilities systems in a production or automated environmentPreferred Skills / ExperienceExperience supervising maintenance or facilities teamsBackground in automated, manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment environmentsMechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g., conveyors, PLCs, pneumatics)Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS toolsExperience troubleshooting computer hardware, networks, and industrial systemsStrong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and business systemsExperience working with vendors and external service providersWork Environment, Schedule & Physical RequirementsOn-site role in a production and automation-supported facilityScheduled Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMAbility to lift and carry 20–100 lbs as requiredAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform hands-on troubleshootingFlexibility to work occasional evening hours based on business needsMinimal travel requiredWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
