CNC Setup or Operator

Set-up, operate, adjust, and edit programs on CNC Lathes/Mills. Check work for conformity, print specifications and quality standards; Perform related job duties as assigned. Must be fully experienced with excellent work habits. Some Programming a plus Examples of Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and/or operate, and adjust program/offsets on CNC Lathes/Mills with Fanuc controls and some Fadal Mills. Have a solid understanding on engineering specifications, production drawings, production procedures, and verbal instructions. Check work in process for adherence to quality and production standards; Also Insure first articles are done on each job. Continue to inspect parts through production run. Maintain a clean and safe work area and equipment operating conditions; insure routine maintenance is done on machinery. Complete accurate production/work records: Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining. Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position.
