This role includes providing preliminary engineering and final design for projects, which requires experience with hydraulic analysis, profile design, understanding of survey and rights of way requirements. Candidate should have good leadership skills to work with design team. Experience in master planning and sewer and water rehabilitation is a plus.\nACCOUNTABILITIES\nPrepare construction plans, technical specifications, technical studies and reports.\nLead/Organize/and Manage small teams of personnel (EIT, designers, and drafters).\nProvide quality reviews of own work and work by EITs/designers.\nAssist project manager in preparing and managing project schedules and budgets.\nAttend and participate in client meetings.\nAssist in developing marketing proposals (prepare technical understanding and approach).\nAssist in construction administration of projects, including reviewing and responding to contractor material submittals, RFI's and change order requests.\nEvaluate company practices and provide input for continuous improvement.\nParticipate in the execution of Company strategic plan.\nRepresent the Company at industry events and conferences.\nNote: Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this role at any time.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nExperience using engineering design and office software, including AutoCAD Civil3D, MS Office and others.\nAbility to mentor and train CAD Designers and Engineers-in-Training.\nStrong technical writing skills, and ability to convey engineering decisions and concepts to non-technical and technically based audiences.\nAbility to work within a variety of team environments, including varying team sizes and personnel.\nAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.\nThe ability to consistently meet project deadlines while always maintaining a high level of quality.\nAbility to effectively communicate to all levels of the project team including Clients, technicians, engineers and subconsultants.\n\nEducation and Experience:\nMust have a B.S. degree in Engineering, Civil preferred\n4-6 years of relevant experience preferred\n\nOther Requirements:\nRegistered Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Arizona or the ability to obtain registration within six months.\nMust have a valid Arizona driver's license or be able to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license within 3 months of start date.\n\nLOCATION: This opportunity is in our Tucson, Arizona office location\nCOMPENSATION: Salary depends on level of skills and experience\n\nABOUT DIBBLE\nFounded in 1962, we provide a full range of civil engineering services to public and private sector clients across Arizona, Colorado, and the Southwestern United States.
