Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level software integration engineer who shall be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and operational support of the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) component of the CASA Compute Environment (CCE). The CCE provides secure, multi-tenant, high-performance, and highly available Kubernetes clusters operating within a Linux-based infrastructure. Tasking shall ensure platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal cluster performance in support of mission and application requirements.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.\nThe individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.\nHold a Security+ Certification\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of tools\nExperience developing scripts using Bash/Python\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker/Podman\nDemonstrated experience administrating and monitoring Kubernetes clusters\nExperience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads (ingress, performance, networking, storage, etc.)\nExperience with IaC principles, concepts, and methodologies using automation tools including Ansible\nExperience writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm Charts\nExperience using Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)\nExperience working in a DevOps environment that uses Agile principles and methodologies\nExperience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus /Grafana\nExperience with or willingness to learn development of Python applications (REST services, microservices, etc.)\nCKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
