The Technology team is a mission driven group committed to making an impact to address the generation problem of Climate Change. Our projects span from backend charging protocols, to frontend UI for charging management. Our tech stack includes React with Typescript for the front end, with Python, NodeJs, Go, or Java distributed microservices in the backend.\nThe Technology team’s goal is to achieve 99% Charge Success Rates. This is an exciting opportunity to build a vertically integrated EV Charging operations platform with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our software products. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers to create innovative EV Charging and Energy management solutions that meet our customers needs.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain distributed software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\nDesign, implement, and test software components and systems.\nTroubleshoot and debug issues in the software, identifying and fixing bugs as needed.\nDevelop and maintain documentation for software systems and processes.\nStay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in full stack software development.\nRequirements\n5+ Years of experience as a fullstack engineer owning features end-to-end.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.\nStrong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.\nFamiliarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).\nExperience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Express, or FastAPI/Flask.\nKnowledge of databases and ORM frameworks (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQLAlchemy).\nFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.\nExperience with AWS.\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).\nExperience with agile methodologies.\nIdeally, candidate has technical understanding of OCPP, ISO15118 or other relevant charging standards\nExperience with Kafka or similar event messaging technologies a plus.\nIONNA is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices through a competitive base salary, as well as offering bonus programs, comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, 401(K), and paid holidays.
