This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Charleston, West Virginia office.\n\nProject Controller (Junior) - Job Description:\nThe Project Controller (Junior) will provide project management support services, focusing on project initiation, cost management, change management, progress measurement, reporting, and project close-out. This role involves collaborating with project managers to develop and review project plans, estimates, schedules, risks, and contractual requirements.\n\nProject Controller (Junior) - Responsibilities:\n• Review PC Organizational structure and maintain staffing worksheet\n• Understand overall project scope\n• Review Estimate and provide input for mapping to the control WBS\n• Review schedule and maintain list of project key milestones\n• Maintain project time phasing for control budget and estimate to complete\n• Complete requisitions for commitment of project materials and services\n• Compile incurred costs reporting and variance explanations\n• Update cost management system with time-phased data, contractor progress, and project trends\n• Review project invoices to ensure costs align with incurred costs\n• Review contractor cost and progress and provide input to estimate at completion\n• Monitor cost progress and performance metrics to establish potential and pending trends\n• Participate in HRIM and QRA meetings\n• Assist in the preparation and compiling of detailed project cost reports, scorecards, and project scans\n• Provide overall support to Intermediate and Senior Project Controls\n• Involved in administrative project close-out activities\n\nProject Controller (Junior) - Mandatory Skills:\n• Good to excellent communication skills\n• Basic awareness of Earned Value Management, rules of credit, and progress measurement\n• Experience with executing low- to moderate-risk capital projects\n• Strong problem-solving skills\n• Ability to work effectively in a team environment\n• Accessible and open to feedback\n• Strong attention to detail\n\nProject Controller (Junior) – Nice-to-Have Skills:\n• Experience with project management software\n• Familiarity with engineering, procurement, and construction processes\n• Understanding of cost management systems\n• Experience in a similar industry\n• Knowledge of project close-out activities\n\nProject Controller (Junior) – Assignment Length:\nThis is a 12-month contract position.\n\nProject Controller (Junior) - Start Date:\nASAP\n\nProject Controller (Junior) - Assignment Location:\nCharleston, West Virginia, United States.
