Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer shall be responsible for software development activities for a service that automates corporate data compliance requirements for one of the HPC organizations.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\nNine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using the Linux CLI\nExperience with creating/modifying scripts using Bash/Python\nExperience developing with Java in a Linux environment\nExperience with designing and developing multi-threaded and distributed applications\nExperience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies\nExperience performing benchmarking and system testing in a Linux environment\nExperience with CI/CD concepts, principles, and best practices using tools such as GitLab CI\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker\nExperience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)\nExperience with Git Version Control System\nExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation tools such as Ansible\nExperience with Message Broker technologies such as Pulsar, Kafka, or RabbitMQ\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
