Our organization is growing, and we believe your career should too.\r\nProject Overview\r\nProject Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced, full- time Construction Management Representativefor therehabilitating critical water and wastewater utility systems at Wahweap and Lone Rock within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area to replace outdated infrastructure and improve reliability for park operations and visitors.The Construction Management Representative would be responsible for observing construction activities, documenting progress, reviewing schedules and costs, and ensuring the contractor's work complies with contract requirements and quality standards.\r\nThis role is contingent upon award of project.\r\nResponsibilities and Duties\r\nObserve and document construction activities to ensure progress, quality, and compliance with contract plans, specifications, and safety requirements\r\nMaintain daily logs and photo documentation of on-site work, including detailed reports of construction progress and issues\r\nReview and analyze construction schedules, cost estimates, and contractor proposals for accuracy and adherence to requirements\r\nMonitor contractor compliance with safety plans and regulations, documenting any issues and reporting them to the Government\r\nManage and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, logs, and contract records using the designated CM software system\r\nReview progress payment requests and certified payrolls to verify accuracy and compliance with contract and labor requirements\r\nFacilitate and document meetings, including progress meetings, inspections, and coordination sessions, ensuring timely meeting notes\r\nAssist with contract changes, negotiations, and inspections, including preparing scopes, tracking proposals, and supporting project closeout activities\r\nRequired Education, Skills, and Abilities\r\nEducation/Certification\r\nOSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification is required\r\nStrong technical knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and contract documents, supported by relevant education and/or experience\r\nExperience\r\nExperience on construction projects of similar size, scope, and complexity is strongly preferred\r\nDemonstrated experience in construction management or related roles, including observing and documenting construction work\r\nExperience reading and interpreting construction contracts, plans, and specifications\r\nExperience with construction cost estimating and evaluating contractor proposals, including labor, materials, equipment, and pricing breakdowns\r\nExperience performing and reviewing construction schedule analysis and progress tracking\r\nExperience managing construction documentation and administrative processes, such as RFIs, submittals, logs, and reports\r\nExperience conducting or supporting inspections, meetings, negotiations, and coordination activities throughout construction projects\r\nExperience monitoring construction safety practices and compliance with applicable regulations and standards\r\nKey Attributes & Skills\r\nStrong ability to read, interpret, and understand construction contracts, plans, and specifications\r\nProficiency in construction management software and tools, including MS Teams, Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, and MS Project\r\nSolid technical knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations\r\nCapability to analyze cost estimates, proposals, and construction schedules with detailed breakdowns\r\nStrong documentation and record-keeping skills, including maintaining logs, reports, and project records\r\nEffective communication and coordination skills, including facilitating meetings and maintaining professional, neutral communication\r\nAbility to observe, inspect, and evaluate construction work for quality, progress, and compliance\r\nPhysical ability to walk and climb regularly on-site to monitor construction activities.\r\nAbility to work independently in a field-based environment\r\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy for construction records and reports\r\nWhat Does PSI Offer You?\r\nThree options for medical plans plus dental and vision insurance offerings\r\n24/7 healthcare access to telehealth services for your convenience\r\nHSA\r\nCompanylife insurance options for you and your family\r\nShort-term and long-term disability offerings\r\nPLUS an $800 monthly allowance is provided to offset your PSI insurance premium costs\r\n401(k) with a 4% employer match\r\nGenerous PTO, paid-federal holidays, and sick leave\r\nAlways the opportunity for professional development\r\nThe information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor are they intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
