Candidate should possess strong attention to detail and good written and oral communication skills.\n\nMUST BE LOCAL TO DC METRO AREA (hybrid support - 2 days in ILS HQ office, located in Fairfax, VA 22033).\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and popular frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Struts.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.\nWrite clean, well-designed, and maintainable code.\nParticipate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and other technical discussions to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.\nDevelop and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.\nTroubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues.\nContinuously improve software development processes and practices.\nQualifications:\n\nRequired skill sets - Extensive experience with:\n\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related equivalent.\nAt least 10 years experience in software development with microservices-based applications using Java and popular frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Struts).\nHands-on experience with Java8 / 11+, Microservices, Angular, Spring Boot, JUnit, Cucumber, AWS, Kafka, Containerization, SVN, Jenkins.\nJava full-stack development experience.\nCloud migration (AWS)\nRelational Database Mgmt.
