DescriptionBEACH ATTENDANTABOUT US: Hero Beach Club is a 30-room boutique hotel in Montauk, NY featuring original 1950s architecture and modern amenities.ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a Beach Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will oversee the safety and enjoyment of guests at our beach and pool facilities by monitoring activities, enforcing rules, and delivering exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, comfort working outdoors, and a guest-first attitude are a must.Essential DutiesOversee guest safety and enjoyment at the beach and poolMonitor activities to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulationsProvide excellent customer service and answer guest questionsMaintain a clean and tidy beach/pool area, including proper trash disposalRespond appropriately to emergency situationsMust be able to perform all physical duties of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbsSpecific RequirementsEnforce beach/pool rules and regulationsComplete daily paperwork and maintain accurate activity recordsMust be able to swim and be comfortable in open waterPerform routine maintenance tasks including pool cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment upkeepValid CPR and First Aid certification requiredKnowledge of beach/pool safety rules and regulationsQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 16 years oldPrior experience as a lifeguard or pool attendant preferred, but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBasic knowledge of pool maintenance and equipmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: Company is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
