{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"16b7635597bc412ddd771ef3","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/16b7635597bc412ddd771ef3","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/16b7635597bc412ddd771ef3","title":"Technical Targeter","description":"MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Targeter to join our team in Chantilly, VA\n\nThe Technical Targeter will leverage their extensive technical targeting and operational skills and experience in support of the Sponsor’s sensitive targeting mission.\n\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nLeveraging technical targeting, analytic, and writing skills and experience to obtain, thoroughly analyze, and exploit large data sets in support of the Sponsor’s mission\nWorking with technical and non-technical groups within the department to help them understand and best leverage newly obtained datasets\nWorking with Sponsor, IC, and foreign partners to build relationships, drive complex operations, and keep momentum with minimal oversight\nPerforming all-source analysis in support of the Sponsor’s mission\nWriting and coordinating on a significant number of operational cables\nResearching, preparing, and presenting reports and briefings as required. Communicating and coordinating with internal and external partners and customers as needed\nProposing new methodologies and/or tools to improve analytic capabilities as well as working with the Sponsor’s passive tasking tools\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma with 7+ years of relevant Information Technology experience.\nSignificant demonstrated technical targeting, CI, CT, and/or operational experience applicable to the Sponsor’s mission\nStrong writing skills, to include operational cables, formal written reports, and less-formal email correspondence\nDemonstrated effectiveness in providing impromptu as well as prepared technical data analysis and briefings\nDemonstrated effectiveness in collecting and analyzing both technical and non-technical datasets and accurately representing them to both technical and non-technical parties to build understanding\nExperience searching, reading, and comprehending information using the Sponsor’s key analytic/targeting tools\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical parties as required\nExceptional judgement in support of questions generated from Sponsor data holdings\nStaff Operations Officer experience\nPolicy and data compliance expertise\n\nClearance Requirements:\nAn active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
