We are responsible for the entire enterprise in designing innovative services, creating, and sharing best practices, and providing support for our services.\n\nThis role requires a presence in our Wichita, KS / Atlanta, GA / or Plano, TX office\n\nThis role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services using modern programming languages and frameworks\nCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions\nDesign APIs, services, and data integrations that are scalable, secure, and performant\nWrite clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following engineering best practices\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to shared quality standards\nSupport production systems by diagnosing issues, resolving defects, and improving reliability\nContribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and development tooling to improve delivery speed and quality\nContinuously learn and apply new technologies, patterns, and practices\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\n\nProfessional experience building and supporting production software systems\nProficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)\nExperience with web services, APIs, and distributed systems\nFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)\nFamiliarity with AI augmented development, microservices, event driven architectures, and graph database technologies\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices\nExposure to agile or iterative development methodologies\nExperience working in large-scale or enterprise environments\n\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
